Our Statement of Faith

This article contains a SUMMARY of essential doctrines of KaHale o HaMashiach; its purpose is to merely capture an abbreviated essence of our doctrines and teachings, as prescribed by the Elders of this local Ekklesia.

What We Believe

Teaching Style

We teach the Scriptures from a Biblical, Mosaic-Messianic, Jewish perspective, rather than a Rabbinic-Mishnaic or Western view.

The Scriptures

We teach that the entire Bible (“all Scripture”) is the inspired word of God; it is God’s divine truth, His written revelation to man; it is absolutely inerrant in its original texts, infallible, plenary and is the final authority that constitutes our faith and practices.
We teach that the Holy Scriptures are made up of two sections (Old & New Writings) containing 66 books; all of which are the divine inspiration of God that are disseminated to all parts of the Bible equally and fully, by the means of holy men, moved and led by the Holy Spirit to write the very words of Scripture, inerrant, as to what was conveyed to them and written down as far as the original extant copies are concerned.

God of the Scriptures

We believe in One True God, ultimate, superior living Being (Deity) – Who is omniscient,
omnipotent, and omnipresent and has all-authority (is sovereign) in all history (from everlasting to everlasting) to which logically therefore, there cannot be any other true god(s). All others supposed gods are false, and originate from human imaginings, fallen angels (demons) and/or Satan himself.

We believe in a Monotheistic, Trinitarian Godhead, revealed as a personal, holy, loving,
righteous, co-equal, co-eternal being, existing and operating precisely in the same nature, attributes, and personality, Who are composed as to what the precepts of Scripture disclose:

  • Father (Abba) is the first Person of the Trinity
  • Son (Ben) is the second Person of the Trinity
  • Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) is the third Person of the Trinity.

Yeshua, Messiah, the Son of God

We believe Yeshua is begotten of God the Father, born from the Virgin Mary through the work of the Holy Spirit, lived without sin, died as the perfect substitutional sacrifice for all sin, once for all mankind, and on the third day rose again as the fulfillment of scriptures. We teach that since His first coming has been fully accomplished (i.e., His virgin birth, sinless life and death and resurrection), He is now ascended into heaven, seated at the right-hand of the Father, and presently operates as our High Priest, interceding for all those who believe in Him. Therefore, we teach that Yeshua is the Messiah, Who fulfilled all prophecy regarding His first coming, and will return again in the future, in victory, exactly as prophesied regarding His second coming.

God the Holy Spirit, Ruach HaKodesh

We believe in the divine Person and personality of the Holy Spirit, that as the third Person of the Triune Godhead; He is the divine, infallible Author, Illuminator and Interpreter of God’s Word.

We teach that He is the Spirit of Truth Who calls, regenerates, indwells, convicts, corrects, instructs, guides, and enables all believers for spiritual growth, service, worship and good deeds, through His equipping of unique spiritual gifts to each individual believer, for the building up and maturity of the Church, the Body of Christ. We teach that during this Church age, the Holy Spirit’s primary ministry is to permanently indwell, seal, and baptize every believer into One Body, One faith, One love, One hope, and One Lord for the ultimate purpose of sanctification, making disciples, and glorifying God.

Salvation

We believe and teach that salvation is by fully and wholly the work of God’s divine grace, through personal faith in the redemption of Jesus Christ’s shed blood, and therefore not by any human merit whatsoever; that by the riches of God’s mercy and grace in Jesus Messiah, all sins of believers are removed and the power of sin is broken forever. Therefore, in result of the nature of Jesus’ fulfillment on the cross, every believer has been fully justified (i.e. meaning: each believer’s sins have been paid in full), set apart, united with and co-heirs with Christ, has been already given every spiritual blessing, and is completely, eternally secure.
